Dassi’s story
Dassi Erlich, who has campaigned tirelessly for the extradition of Malka Leifer from Israel to face 74 charges of child sexual abuse in Melbourne, will tell her story on ABC-TV’s “Australia Story” over the next two weeks.
Dassi and her sisters were survivors of Malka Leifer’s alleged abuse.
Australia Story screens on Monday at 8pm
I watch Australian Story on Monday and what impressive ladies they are.
Watch the second and final part next Monday or the repeats later each week for both episodes.
My heart goes out to these three sisters and I laud their courage. Shame on anyone in their family or community who denied them support. Malka Leifer has tarried too long, creating sham after sham in order to avoid answering in court to the grave allegations made against her. For the sake of the Erlich sisters, get this woman to Australia so that due legal processes can take place. Also for the sake of other children Leifer might have access to.
I watch ABC TV Channel 2 all Monday evening from the 7 PM News to The Business just before midnight (no more Lateline unfortunately). They are other great shows in-between like 7:30, Australian Story, 4 Corners, Media Watch, Q&A and Late News too.
I will be watching Australian Story at 8 PM as part of that viewing block. I live a few kilometers from were the headmistress allegedly committed child sex or pedophile crimes.
I want to see justice done and I admire the girls (now young ladies) for standing up and pursuing this matter.
