Sydney’s Emanuel Synagogue is to host a free virtual dance class next Wednesday with acclaimed Israeli choreographer Omer Backley-Astrachan.

Acclaimed Israeli choreographer Omer Backley-Astrachan is inviting everyone for an hour of virtual dance class designed for anyone and everyone.
What better way to shake off the worries of yesterday than a good dance in your own living room?
All p have a safe 2×2 space, internet connection and a desire to move, this class is for you. Previous dance experience is not required.
Completely FREE for the Emanuel Synagogue community, this improvisation-based dance class will lead you through a series of guided imagery and sensory exercises that will increase creativity, awareness and fitness.

Omer Backley-Astrachan is a Sydney-based Israeli Choreographer and Course Coordinator at Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year. Omer has worked extensively in Israel with a range of dance companies such as Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Kamea Dance Company and Jerusalem Dance Theatre. Moving to Australia in 2014, Omer established himself as an independent choreographer, creating and performing award-winning works nationally and internationally.
