Federal Labor MP Michael Danby has accepted Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s request that he continue as Parliamentary Secretary for the Arts.

The member for Melbourne Ports told J-Wire: “I firmly believe that Julia Gillard was a formidable and strong Prime Minister. However,  I am very much in favour of party unity and pleased to be part of the healing process as the Australian Labor Party moves into the next phase of its existence.”

    Fair go Alex, you can’t accuse Michael for being an inspiring speaker, just a nice guy with a nice smile in gratitude for a shuttering job in the sorting out the turmoils of politics, sorry, the “arts” of politics.
