The first Montefiore residents received their COVID-19 vaccinations at the Hunters Hill campus in Sydney today.

Thanks to all the residents and families who have worked with our care and Clinical Governance teams to ensure we can support the government rollout as efficiently as possible. Residents at other Montefiore sites will also receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine over the next three weeks, with the staff rollout to follow.

What they said:

Phillip Mintz: We’re all feeling good about the vaccine, no concerns here.

Maurice Rudnick: I think it’s a great idea.

Sheila and Gerald Levy: We’re looking forward to this one and the second dose. We’ve also had the whooping cough vaccine recently so we can see our first great-grandchild.

Yvonne Kay: I think it’s amazing that we can have it done here – this is the best place to be when you’re getting older.
