Three members of the U.S. team heading to Sydney for December’s Maccabi Australia International Games participated in the inaugural Games in 2006.
Lisa Fischman will be coaching the Open Women’s Basketball team. On her last visit to Sydney, she took home a Gold Medal as a playing member of the same team.
Alexandra Yudelevich was in the Open Tennis team in 2006 and this time returns as coach of both the Open Men’s and Women’s teams.
The Open Soccer event in 2006 saw Phillip [PJ] Chermak play for his country…and he is about to repeat this in 2010.
Their families at home will be able to follow their progress. MAIGS have been apporached by Ron Carner on behalf of JLTV a national network broadcasting Jewish content to millions of Jewish homes throughout the U.S.
