In November, the communal dinner as we know it will change forever.
Hadassah Australia is banking (literally) on people staying home but opting in for a good cause.
In fact, two signature causes will be the recipients of Hadassah’s newly-minted program called the Phantom Dinner.
How many times have you been asked to organise a table for a Gala Dinner; your kid’s school, the leading research institute or communal organisation. It’s a challenge; even more so as the price of participation rises dramatically (for a couple with kids the cost to “play” is $250 for the tickets plus parking plus babysitter and that’s before the “ask”).
How good would it be if you could enjoy most of the fun and information elements of a great dinner without leaving the comfort of your home in the company of your best friends?
Welcome to Hadassah Australia’s 2015 Phantom Dinner.
It will start with a six course menu designed especially for Hadassah Australia by Israel’s leading Celebrity Chef, Meir Adoni – once you have paid your $25 to register for the Phantom Dinner you get access to all the menu recipes and the photographic guide to preparation.
Our keynote speaker and special messages will be introduced by a high profile MC – all this by logging in on-line or watching on the DVD that will be sent with the official program to all participants in the week before the Dinner.
Now there is absolutely zero reason why you can’t be part of this wonderful dinner from anywhere in Australia; indeed anywhere in the world.
You will be able to join in by sending in “selfies”; compete for great prizes for “best dressed”; best catered; best table setting; best greeting and many more.

Your only up-front cost is $25; the balance of what you would have spent for a mainstream dinner – at least $100 per person – you can donate to Hadassah Australia on a fully tax-deductible basis.
