NSW Premier Mike Baird and Opposition leader Luke Foley have addressed a special function at the NSW Parliament to mark Chanukah.

The Yeshiva’s Rabbi Pinchus Feldman has once again kindled the menorah which has its permanent home within the parliament.

The rabbi used a special blessing which allowed the kindling taking part outside of the eight-day festival.

NSW Minister for Multiculturalism John Ajaka and president of The New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies Jeremy Spinak also delivered Chanukah messages .
