It is with great pleasure that I wish J-Wire readers a very happy Chanukah and my best wishes for the year ahead.

As 2019 draws to a close, we can reflect on the achievements of the past year and decade and look forward with excitement as to what the future will bring.
The Chanukah message of goodness overcoming evil is equally important today, with the rise of antisemitism locally in Victoria and increased hatred towards Israel.
The strength of the Jewish community to educate others and build bridges into other diverse communities will be important tools to combat these attacks, build unity and ultimately triumph over the evils of hate.
It is a privilege to serve as the Member for Caulfield and advocate for the Jewish community in Parliament, and I look forward to continuing to serve the community in 2020.
