NSW Minister for Multiculturalism John Ajaka sends Chanukah wishes…

John Ajaka

He writes: “It gives me great pleasure to extend my best wishes to everyone celebrating Chanukah this year.

For centuries, the Chanukah miracle has been celebrated with the lighting of the Menorah marking the triumph of light over darkness.

This beautiful and ancient celebration promotes a message of goodness, kindness and the importance of faith to overcome great obstacles.

It affirms faith and confidence in the future. I hope this universal message adds to understanding between all communities in New South Wales.

Wishing your family and friends a happy Chanukah.”
