Changes at the top for JNF
The JNF Australia Board has announced the retirement of National President Marcus Rose for personal reasons and the unanimous appointments of Ronit Fraid as National President and Steven Salamon as Victorian President, both effective immediately.
Ronit has been President of JNF Victoria since 2018, previously serving as Vice President since 2016 and has been a long time major supporter of JNF and its work in Israel. Ronit, a retired clinical psychologist, also chairs the board of the Moniton Group, a successful property development company and is an active philanthropist together with her family.
Steven takes on the Presidency of JNF in Victoria, having previously served as Vice President and Treasurer and brings many years of experience as a commercial lawyer and investment adviser, working with Macquarie Bank as a Divisional Director and presently as a senior consultant with Shaw and Partners. He is also Chairman of the Salcorp Group of companies, an investment and property group.
JNF CEO Dan Springer said: “JNF Australia looks forward to many years of active partnership with Ronit and Steven, together with our staff, volunteers and donors, as we all navigate the current global challenges while maintaining the vital link between our community and Israel.”
