Melbourne’s Chabad Youth has won top marks in the Australian Childhood Foundation’s Safeguarding Children Program for the third time since 2014.

The accreditation is valid for three years although Chabad Youth will have annual contact with the Foundation.

The accreditation runs for three years.

Chabad Youth stated: “We have a strong commitment to maintaining best practice standards for protecting children and young people from abuse and exploitation, which is why we made the decision to take part in this voluntary accreditation process.”

Rabbi Moshe Kahn said: “The welfare of our children is of paramount importance and we, at Chabad Youth are committed to safeguarding children and young people in our care ensuring that they feel and are safe at all times.”

Chabad Youth was one of the first youth organisations to be accredited.
