Israel’s president Itzhak Herzog will attend the launch of the Maccabi World Union Centennial Events to be streamed on MWU’s website and Facebook page.
On August 29, 1921, the Maccabi World Union was formed at a convention in Carlsbad, Czechoslovakia, electing Dr Heinrich Kuhn of Germany as its first president. It was an integral part of the Zionist movement.
