Candidates help distribute 10,000 honey biscuits

Candidates for this weekend’s council elections Lucinda Regan and Rosalie Hirsch have visited Bondi’s Our Big Kitchen to help with a 10,000 honey biscuit bake-off.

from Residents First Woollahra helped  together with another eight  volunteers.

All biscuits will be distributed to various hospitals and nursing homes around Sydney in honour of the Jewish New Year.

Lucinda Regan and Rosalie Hirsch said: “We were fortunate enough to be present on a day that Our Big Kitchen was also hosting an interfaith cook-off which brought Muslim and Jewish students together to cook for the community and those in need. The community spirit truly inspired us and we feel  honoured to have taken part in such a gathering.”
