The Bunnings Warehouse in Hawthorn, Melbourne has hosted a kids’ Chanukah workshop.

Co-ordinated by Rabbi Yossi and Ita Smoller of Chabad Sparks, over 50 children from various schools around Melbourne, tried their hand at woodworking.

Each of the two sessions saw children sand, glue and paint their own Menorahs.

The one-hour workshops were enjoyed by both adults and children, with the whole family joining in to build and decorate their Chanukah menorahs.

Once their creations were finished, participants waited for their Menorahs to dry while feasting on doughnuts, popcorn and other treats.

Everyone left with Chabad Sparks goody bags and all prepared for the Chanukah holiday, which this year starts on Sunday 2nd December.
