Head of Delegation for Australia, Tom Goldman said that “it was a phenomenal experience being a part of this open celebration of Jewishness in Hungary.”

Maccabi Australia sent Tom Danos and Robert Kohn to represent Australia and they enjoyed the opportunity to compete at the highest level in the over 65’s Master’s Tennis category.

Both men put up a good performance, winning their first-round matches and fighting hard in their second rounds, but falling short to miss out of progressing into the next round.

These games, together with the Pan American Maccabi Games in Mexico City brings to a close the two regional games. Maccabi World Union now looks ahead to the next games on the events calendar, the Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2021.
