Britain considers placing new sanctions on Iran as nuclear talks falter
Britain could impose new sanctions on Iran if talks in Vienna do not advance over the state its nuclear program.
The sanctions could come if Tehran does not lower its demands, leading to the impasse in negotiations, reported The Telegraph on Saturday.
According to the report, the German foreign minister said “time is running out,” while Israel warned that it is preparing for an attack on Iran’s nuclear installations.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi presented a budget on Sunday that aims for 8 percent economic growth and increased oil sales, despite U.S. sanctions, reported Reuters.
