Australia’s B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission has saluted the Australians and New Zealanders who lost their lives fighting for their countries.

Slouch-Hat-Flyer-LoRes290-A4Chair Dr Dvir Abramovich stated:  “Today we honour the brave men and women of our armed forces, from every generation, who laid down their lives in protecting our great countries.

As they fought to defend the blessed gift of freedom that we enjoy every day, and our way of life, their perseverance was always present and never faltered. Our nations are safer because of the  extraordinary sacrifices they made. We also pay tribute to the military families who carried the burden of not having their loved ones by their side, and  remember those who serve here and overseas, courageously upholding the values we hold dear. They deserve our utmost respect and admiration.

On Anzac Day, we celebrate the lives of our fallen heroes who paid the ultimate price, and come together to say thank you for their incredible devotion. This is a debt we will never be able to repay.”
