A record 57 high school students have attended the annual BJE Weekend Escape Camp at Wisemans Ferry near Sydney.

Happy campers

The 4-day camp was packed with a multitude of activities which included learning about different aspects of Jewish community life and Shabbat, bonfires, singing, dancing and a general ruach.

This year, the students were visited by various communal organisations such as Hillel, AUJS, Maccabi and the CSG who ran programs for the students. This was a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about what the Sydney Jewish community has to offer.
