Melbourne’s Bialik College has pegged its fees 2010 increase at 1.5%.In a letter to parents, school president Alan Goldstone says that the school “is mindful that the current economic climate has caused many families to face significant hardship as they strive to provide their children with a Jewish education”.

The school expects the 1.5% limit “to be well below the level of increase of most independent schools”.

Goldstone pointed out the Government funding is currently being put to work in the construction of a new library due to open in 2011. The school is also further developing its Information Technology resources.

And now Graham Goldsmith has woken up and decided to Axe their failed principal. Admittedly he did give Joseph the option to tender his resignation, guess he thought he was more important than he is. Such a wonderful noise the dances of joy emanating from staff in hallways all this afternoon.
