Bialik does well
Eight Year 7 students recently represented Bialik at the Year 7 Maths Games Day held at Camberwell Grammar School.
The Bialik students worked in teams of four to complete a series of Mathematics tasks which included; code breaking, a spinoff of the classic Math game 24, Prime Location, The Nim-ja Thief and the complex game of Lokulus. The day concluded with a Problem Solving Olympiad.
A spokesperson for Bialik told J-Wire: “We are very proud of both teams’ efforts on the day. Bialik Team A came 1st and 2nd in Lokulus, 2nd place in code breaking and 3rd place overall. Bialik Team B came 2nd in Prime Location.”
