The Zionist Youth Movement, Betar, has just unveiled its new Mao”z (center) in the White City complex in Paddington.  Weekly activities have been taking place there since Betar’s successful Purim activates in March.

The agreement for Betar to use White City has been facilitated by the Hakoah Club, which plans to build a Jewish communal center on the site in the future.

The inaugural Betar function at White City will be the Official Opening of the Betar Mao”z on Sunday 29th April from 1:30pm to 5pm, at 30 Alma Street, Paddington.

This is an event for the whole family including a jumping castle, face painting, soccer matches and much more.  A strictly kosher sausage sizzle will inaugurate Betar’s new BBQ.

Entry to the event is free, and open to the entire community.

Betar’s leadership team is headed by Tiffany Davis, who says that several very exciting activities are planned over the coming months.  Tiffany can be contacted on 0414-773486 or by email on [email protected] for any enquiries.
