This  prestigious schools event attracted not only local teams but also teams from interstate and internationally the Chinese National Team.

To add to the excitement of this year’s event, Dante Exum, who is considered a top 3 NBA draft prospect, was competing for the school which he attends in Canberra.  Although he was in the Championships Division for Under 20 competitors, it was a great experience for our team to grace the same court as a future star.

The Bialik Team had an outstanding tournament finishing the round matches in 3rd position and  playing some great team basketball advanced through to the final with a convincing 16 point win against Bendigo Secondary College.

In the final against a much taller opposition from Scotch College in Adelaide, the team was defeated. However, it was the experience gained through playing in such a high quality tournament and the moments we shared as a group that will be forever etched into the minds and hearts of the boys.  The team consisted of Saul Williams, Ward Williams, Ben Aizik, Michael Rabinovich, Kyler Hilton, Simon Adler, Jeremy Bassat and Jonah Wise.
