As part of the newly developed KTC Bas Mitzvah program, the Year 6 students learned what it means to be an Eishes Chayil, a Jewish woman of valour, and how to integrate their learning into their personal lives. Proud mothers, extended families and friends watched each girl give an interesting and meaningful presentation on her Jewish name, and enjoyed dancing and singing with their daughters. The Bas Mitzvah program consists of a semester of study, hands-on activities and excursions.
