In a ceremony held at Victoria Barracks by the Defence Reserves Support Council, the Governor of NSW David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d) presented the award to Garry Hyman, President of Cremorne Synagogue.

Garry Hyman told J-Wire that he was honoured that this award had been bestowed on the synagogue and was only too happy to support the great work that the ADF performs not only in Defence hotspots like Afghanistan but also in disaster struck places like the recent cyclones which hit Vanuatu and Rockhampton.
