Australian youth attends ANZAC Day in Jerusalem

Australian participants in Zionist Federation of Australia programs in Israel attended the ANZAC Day commemoration at Mount Scopus in Jerusalem.

Ginette Searle, Executive director of the ZFA said:-
“The Zionist Federation of Australia was delighted to have been at this most beautiful and appropriate and dignified ceremony at Mt scopus on Friday 24 April. We brought the 200 Australian participants from our long term programs. In a week of memorial, coming so close after commemorating yom hazikaron it was particularly poignant to be commemorating 100 years of Anzac in Israel.”
The commemoration was addressed by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Australia Ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma and Rabbi Raymond Apple.
