Australian interest in Nazi women’s magazines

65 copies of the Nazi women’s magazine Frauen Warte are up for auction…and there is significant Australian interest.

PD*28166178The magazines are to be auctioned in England next week, expecting to realise around $1250.

A spokesman for the auctioneers told media that the magazines contained knitting patterns, cooking recipes…and Nazi propaganda.

He said that there had been a lot of interest in the collection “particularly from Australia”

At the same auction, 48 Nazi schoolboy magazines featuring the bombing of England will be up for sale.
