The Embassy of Israel and the Israel Trade Commission invite you to join a discussion with a panel of leaders from Israel’s innovation eco-system.

The panel will include Dr Ami Appelbaum, Chief Scientist and Chairman Israel Innovation Authority; Chemi Peres, a pioneer of Israel’s tech ecosystem and Managing General Partner Pitango Venture Capital; Yifat Oron CEO LeumiTech, Bank Leumi’s high-tech arm and Meir Linzen, Managing Partner Herzog Fox & Neeman, Israel’s premier law firm. The discussion will be moderated by Jennifer Hewett, National Affairs columnist, Australian Financial Review.

The COVID-19 crisis has spurred collaboration and investment across Israel’s famed innovation eco-system to develop a plethora of new technology solutions to address fallout from the pandemic. Ground-breaking technologies that used to take months or years to develop are being developed in days or weeks across impacted sectors including healthcare, air travel, retail, financial services and supply chain management.  Hear from our panel about the role that government, business, venture capital, and research institutes are playing to drive Israel’s innovation response to the crisis and opportunities for collaboration with Australia.
