The Socialist Alternative is appealing a decision by Melbourne’s Monash University to deregister them…AUJS needs your name on a petition.
Following extensive lobbying by AUJS, Monash University’s Socialist Alternative group was deregistered by Monash University’s governing body for preventing Jewish students from entering an event they were hosting.
Socialist Alternative is loathed on campus by most students, for more than just its extreme anti-Israel (and antisemitic) campaigning, but now with the group appealing the decision & campaigning in public, we need to publicly support the C&S committee’s decision.
Please sign the petition on the link below and circulate to as many people as possible – we want it to beat the Socialist Alternative petition to have their group reinstated on campus.
