We are looking to appoint a new Community Manager!

The Community Hub is seeking applications for a newly created role of Hub Community Manager for the Greys Avenue site and the subsequent move to the new Remuera site with two key areas of responsibility:
Manage a new Community Hub team that will provide shared services to the AHC, Kadimah School, Kadimah Preschool, the Goldwater Trust Board and all their stakeholders – members, management, operating staff, students, parents and the wider community. Responsibilities include:

Overall responsibility for the Greys Ave centre facilities (and the new Remuera site) and shared services – operations, administrative functions, suppliers and facilities. This includes events, repairs and maintenance, caretaking and cleaning services, IT, Health and Safety and HR for Community Hub employees.

Single point of contact for everyone in the Greys Avenue facility to ensure good working relationships. Represent and positively promote the objectives of the centre users.

Liaise between the congregation, the School, the Preschool, GTB and the community.

Oversee Security protocols in close consultation with Kadimah School Principal, Preschool Senior Teacher and the CSG.

Manage vendor relationships (suppliers of services).
Make decisions and act on behalf of the AHC Board of Management (BoM) for the following:

Support business planning processes for the AHC

Implement policy from AHC BoM

Represent AHC with other community organisations
-
Develop and implement a marketing plan to promote the AHC and grow membership

AHC community member liaison
-
Implement a welcome programme for new members

Oversee Deli operations
-
Create an Operations Manual of community processes and policy.
