Auckland Arrests

Two men have been charged with Wilful Damage following the desecration of more than 20 Jewish graves in Auckland, New Zealand.

A 23-yr-old man will appear tomorrow and a 19-yr-old will appear in the same Auckland District COurt on Tuesday.

J-Wire understand there may be more arrests following continuing investigation.

    It will be interesting to find out their personal history if that becomes available. And necessary.

    I am not surprised at this shocking desecration of Jewish graves. Many young people today have no respect, no guidance, too much money and think the world owes them a living. The punishment for this crime should reflect the severity of it. Our Judicial system is more inclined to punish the victims rather than the criminals – citing disadvantaged upbringing and lack of parental guidance as an excuse. If parents were made absolutely responsible for their offspring’s actions – then crimes like this one would be on the decline.
