Ask the President
The President of the State of Israel, Shimon Peres, has launched a new application on his Facebook page.
The new project entitled “You Ask, President Peres Answers” calls for questions from all over the world with the top questions being personally answered by President Peres in writing and through video messages. The new application creates a direct link between President Peres and people all over the world who are interested in the State of Israel.
President Peres launched his Facebook page in March 2012 from Mark Zuckerberg’s personal computer in Silicon Valley alongside the Facebook founder. Since then President Peres has maintained an active online presence through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in the project known as “Peres 360” which creates transparency and accessibility to the president through social media.
President Peres has led the way with many innovative projects including his “One-on-One” conversation application, a voter turn-out project for Israel’s elections, live video streaming and the “Be My Friend For Peace” launch video.
Why would anyone bother to ask Shimon Peres, that so called “elder statesman” anything?
This is the left wing idealogue who created the disastrous Oslo Accords in the first place and went on to declare that Abbas is a partner for peace and that “no one will change my opinion about him.” It obviously doesn’t matter to Peres that Abbas has, over the years, taken the most uncompromising stance on virtually every issue and sees no problem with Arab children being taught from kindergarten age that Jews are the offspring of pigs and apes.
In respect to the Oslo Accords there were, thanks mainly to Shimon, no red lines drawn whereby any breaches by the Palestinian Authority of these same accords would have brought about an immediate cessation of further discussions. On the contrary, this President is the one who, upon learning that Yasser Arafat was caught out preaching “Jihad” in Arabic to his assembled throng, went to his immediate defence saying that Arafat was really calling for a “Jihad for Peace.”
Maybe this man thinks we are all brain dead?
Now thanks to Shimon, Israel is reduced to hosting annual talk fests where all manner of individuals from has been politicians regurgitating their same old failed solutions to Hollywood celebrities like Barbra Streisand, Robert De Niro and Sharon Stone, none of whom have a political track record, all coming together to shower Israel and world Jewry with the brilliance of their collective intellect on what Israel should or should not do in matters of life and death.
Forget about asking this man any questions, I find it appalling that he even still struts the Israeli political landscape.
Will Mr. Peres answer these questions?
