Set in Israel in the mid-seventies, 12-year-old Dvir Avni navigates between the equality values of his kibbutz and his relationship with his mentally unstable mother. She blames her condition and the suicide of Dvir’s father on the suffocating atmosphere of kibbutz life, whilst the kibbutz members wish to denounce her. Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Dror Shaul and stars Tomer Steinhof, Ronit Yudkevitz and Shai Avivi.
