Lucy Gershwin and Simon Tedeschi

Based on the column of the same name in the Good Weekend Magazine, this series charts the most unlikely of pairings and celebrates all kinds of human relationships that can occur between strangers. Tonight, Australia’s most brilliant young pianist, Simon Tedeschi, was first placed in front of a keyboard at 18 months by his grandmother Lucy Gershwin, a Holocaust survivor. Their relationship is a story about music, the Holocaust and the true nature of inheritance. (Commissioned by SBS, in English) (Entertainment Series)
