On June 25, 2006, Israeli gunner Gilad Shalit, was captured and taken to Gaza by Hamas.

This documentary looks at what has been done in the years since to get him home. Moving between the Israeli and the Palestinian sides, between Gilad’s captors and his family, the film reveals how his situation has turned from a humanitarian to a political issue.
