Major General Jeffrey Rosenfeld spoke of the horrors of war, mentioning a letter sent by General Sir John Monash to his wife…a video report.

He also spoke of the strong involvement of Jewish Soldiers in World War 1, with candles lit by Yvonne and Felix Sher, parents of Private Gregory Sher who died in Afghanistan in 2009.

Major General Rosenfeld was the Keynote Speaker at the Centenary of ANZAC Commemoration held at the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation, South Yarra.
