Israeli architect Nili Portugali is making a documentary about the Israeli city of Safed and is looking for anyone who may be able to contribute to her project.

Portugali told J-Wire: “At present stage I am looking for people who either are descendants from the city of Safed or for whom Safed, the center of Jewish culture, is a collective value and memory they wish to preserve and document for future generations. Who would share my feeling on the importance of this project, and help in supporting it financially (as a nonprofit project…) . There is no way I could find these people other than through the Jewish media.
