An eye for a pretty girl keeps Dmitri off his feet
48-yr-old Dmitri Moskovich still has an eye for a pretty girl…but a topless sunbaked topping up her tan at the base of the rocks on which he was rope-climbing made him take his eye off the job and sent him crashing 7 mtrs to the rocks below breaking both his legs.
Dmitri has no shortage of friends visiting
From his bed in Sydney’s St Vincents Hospital, Moskovitch told J-Wire: “I’ve been part of a group that climbs the rocks for years and I’m very experienced but this topless girl broke my concentration resulting in my fall.”
Moskovitch, who has lived in Sydney for 22 years was a member of the crack Russian special unit SPECNAZ.
When asked if it could happen again, Moskovich told J-Wire: “Of course…I am a man after all and there’s no reason what caught my eye this time would not do so again.”
Asked what his wife and son had to say about the incident, he added: “It just convinces them that I am alive…if I am not looking I would probably be dead!”
He told J-Wire that it seems likely that he will be wheelchair-bound for six months. “If my mates can get me on the rock face in my wheelchair, I will have a go at climbing…wheelchair and all.”
