Australia will remain home for Israel’s ambassador Yuval Rotem who is reported to have declined an opportunity to become Benjamin Netanyahu’s Chief of Staff.

shakes Ambassador YuvalRotem's hand “]NSW Premier Nathan Rees shakes Ambassador Rotem's hand Reports state that  Ambassador Rotem had spent significant time with the Israeli Prime Minister during his recent visit and that he told the PM that he was enjoying life in Australia too much to make an early departure from his post.

A spokesman for the Israeli Embassy told J-Wire that the ambassador was back in Australia following the Australia-Israel Leadership Forum and that there was no comment on the story.
