Someone needs to have the courage to speak out!

AJA has joined with Betar at the “silent protest” in Melbourne against Breaking The Silence and the New Israel Fund as they publicly malign and defame the IDF and the State of Israel.

Yes, it’s low key but symbolic. In the photo, AJA committee member Michael Burd is holding our identification and is accompanied by a group of AJA members. Also present is local MP David Southwick.

We want the IDF and Israel to know they have real friends.

I’m behind AJA and Betar 100%. So glad they’ve made a stand in this way and if I were in Melbourne I’d join them. Question: why is this a ‘silent protest’?

I find it impossible to comprehend the stance NIF and Breaking the Silence make – just can’t fathom it. They do a lot of damage. Let their members try living in the cities of Europe where gross anti-Semitism is practised so frequently and increasing rapidly; let them face more squarely what it can be to be Jewish, and examine the real facts instead of blindly opting for ‘Palestinian’ propaganda and their own skewed idea of human rights and injustices.
