Dr Adler had been invited to the  UAE Golden Jubilee, 50th National Day held at the Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art.

The ceremony was led by UAE Ambassador Abdulla Al Subousi and NSW Governor Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley and attended by diplomats representing international missions in Australia.

Ambassador Al Subousi who was an AJA event guest in August accepted the gift in honour of the occasion. The book presented is a compilation of writings by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Security for the Land of Israel.

Dr Adler said: “Whatever the future might bring in Israel-Arab relations, the UAE has earned our respect and appreciation for being the first Arab or Islamic country to join with Israel in the Abraham Accords.

In the era of the Abraham Accords, we hope the teachings in the reference book on the Jewish perspective to Security for the Land of Israel deepen the understanding of the connection of the Jewish people to Eretz Yisrael, the Land of Israel”.

Ambassador Al Subousi graciously accepted the gift saying “we are very optimistic about the positive opportunities which the Abraham Accords have opened – there have already been over 200,000 Jewish tourists to the UAE and new trade approaching $1 billion.”
