Accompanied by Rabbi Elimelech Levy, Adler braved wild winds as he reached he “candles” on the giant menorah on a cherry-picker.

Watching the ceremony were Rabbi Pinchas Feldman, Rabbi Eli Feldman accompanied by State parliamentarians John Robertson, Walt Secord, David Clarke, Alex Greenwich and Jonathan O’Dea.

For two hours, the busy city thoroughfare was transformed into a Yeshiva playground with jumping castles and bungee jump…and no shortage of food and doughnuts.

This marked 27 years of Chanukah in the city. Rabbi Levy told J-Wire: “The damage caused by vandals to the installation this year has cost us an unexpected $1500.”
