25 Academy BJE students attended the annual JNF Green Sunday campaign in Sydney which, this year, was in honour of David Ben Gurion’s vision ‘to make the Negev bloom’.

This statement has never been more appropriate and relevant, as the challenge today is how the present generation can ensure that the development of the Negev is sustainable. BJE students met early at Paddy’s Market, where they went on a mission to buy as many ‘green’ objects for under $ 10, and they then decorated a map of Israel. After this adventure they joined the JNF volunteers to participate in Green Sunday.
