Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met Wednesday in his office with the relatives of 11 terrorists killed while carrying out attacks against Israelis in recent weeks…three hours after a 19-yr-old Border Policewoman Hadar Cohen was killed in an attack at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate.

Thirty-one Israelis have been killed and 302 have been wounded in the wave of Palestinian terrorism that began several months ago. Among those at the meeting at the Mukataa government compound in Ramallah were relatives of Baha Alian, one of two terrorists who killed three Israelis in a shooting attack on a bus in Jerusalem on Oct. 13, and of Bezeq employee Ala Abu Jamal, who killed one man in a ramming attack in central Jerusalem, also on Oct. 13.

According to Israel Radio, Abbas and the families discussed issues including the fact that the 11 terrorists’ bodies are still being held by Israel. The families demanded that Abbas pressure Israel to return the remains. He reportedly said the Palestinian Authority was doing everything it could on the issue.

The meeting took place just hours after three Palestinian terrorists carried out a shooting and stabbing attack near Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate that killed 19-year-old border policewoman Cpl. Hadar Cohen and seriously wounded another border policewoman. All three terrorists were killed in the attack.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu  has gone to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital, visiting the Border Policewoman who was wounded in yesterday’s terrorist attack at Damascus Gate and the IDF soldier who was wounded in a terrorist attack in Beit El several days ago.

Netanyahu said: “I just visited with the Border Policewoman who – along with her comrades – acted with heroism and resourcefulness. Together with their commander, they prevented a much greater disaster. I was impressed by her courage, tenacity and steadfastness, and of her family.

Of course, we all grieve over the death of Hadar Cohen, a genuine hero. We all embrace her family.

We are in a very major effort against terrorism. Kabatiya is cordoned off. The IDF and the ISA are carrying out widespread arrests. We have revoked very many permits to work in Israel and the Attorney General informed me yesterday that he has slated several more terrorists’ homes to be sealed and demolished. This is only part of our efforts to fight this terrorism, and we will defeat it. It will take time; this is a protracted struggle. Islamic terrorism is inundating the world and inciting millions in many countries, from Jakarta to Africa to California. We are part of this turmoil, it is not skipping over us, and we are fighting it with great strength and will continue to do so.”

Prime Minister told the wounded Border Policewoman and soldier: “Your reactions and your resourcefulness prevented terrible disasters. The entire Israeli people embrace you and hope that you will recover quickly.”

The Border Policewoman who was wounded told the Prime Minister how the incident unfolded, including the action taken by the Border Police and her involvement. She said, “We are here to protect civilians. This is what we were drafted for and this is why we are here. I have no doubt that Hadar knew this and acted in this light. I understood that Hadar saved my life.”

19-yr-old Hadar Cohen was recruited into the Border Police only two months ago, and sworn in less than a week ago. Still undergoing training, she had been posted to the Old City just last week, her first operational deployment.

Hadar was part of a three-member squad patrolling the area outside Damascus Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. They identified two suspects and asked them for identification, at which point one drew out a knife and began stabbing the one of the policewomen. Acting heroically, Hadar managed to shoot the assailant, saving the life of her friend. A third terrorist, previously unnoticed, opened fire with an automatic weapon, critically wounding Hadar. She was rushed to Hadassah Medical Center, where she later died of her wounds.

World Jewish Congress (WJC) President Ronald S. Lauder has expressed shock and dismay at reports that Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has hosted the families and called the attackers “martyrs”, just hours after the Israeli border policewoman was killed in an attack in Jerusalem.

“If reports that Mr. Abbas met with the families of Palestinian terrorists are true, it would be nothing short of a calculated slap in the face of the Israeli victims of these atrocities,” Lauder declared.

“President Abbas continues to claim, on the surface, that he believes in a two-state solution while simultaneously celebrating those who murder Israelis in cold blood as ‘martyrs.’ If he is serious in stopping the cycle of violence, he should speak out against these crimes and not condone them,” the WJC president said.

According to the Israeli news service ‘YNet’, Abbas was quoted as telling the families “your sons are martyrs.”

What are all the useless Jewish leaders of the WJC shocked and dismayed about. The chief architect of terror is Abbas.

Recently Netanyahu pathetically appealed to the international community to stop the PA incitement of terror. The international community couldn’t care less about murdered Jews. It is Israel’s job to crush the PA and Hamas and bring them to their knees, but Netanyahu still babbles on how he is willing to meet that arch terrorist Abbas in “peace talks” with no preconditions.

Then he keeps babbling on about a “two state solution” which everyone knows is dead and buried. Everyone except Netanyahu and world Diaspora so called “leaders” that is, who still fervently cling on to and peddle the nonsense of the “two state solution”.

To those who say that Netanyahu is being politically smart, I say enough with this nonsense, enough. Israel can no longer survive the ever so political smartness of Netanyahu. The man is all talk and no action on virtually every issue from tunnelling going on under the northern and southern borders to murderers roaming the streets be they so called “Palestinians” or Arab so called “citizens”.
