Professor Nachman Ash, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Health, has visited Save a Child’s Heart in Holon.

He told staff: “Today I met an organisation with a great impact, and I salute all of you, especially the medical team from Wolfson Medical Centre and its leadership that have been leading these activities for over 25 years. Save a Child’s Heart is firstly an organisation of people, and it is symbolic that my visit today takes place near to founder Dr Ami Cohen’s z”l commemoration, meeting many people from all around the world who act upon his vision.

The Ministry of Health thanks Save a Child’s heart for its many deeds for the children of Israel and the world and for the establishment of the Children’s Hospital, one of the most advanced in the Middle East, at the Wolfson Medical Centre.”
Doron Lazarus, the Australian national CEO of Save a Child’s Heart, told J-Wire: “The visit of Professor Ash coincided with World Humanitarian Day, recognising the passionate and caring individuals who work so tirelessly for humanity, and I thank him on behalf of our Australian donors for his kind words and support.
