On Thank A Paramedic Day, NSW Ambulance Chaplain Rabbi Dovid Slavin has received a medal in recognition of his long standing service to the ambulance service.

The medal was presented by the newly appointed  commissioner Ray Creen in the presence of NSW Minister of health Jillian Skinner MP

Rabbi Slavin and his wife Laya in response presented the commissioner a Kippa with the logo of the NSW ambulance service
