UIA NSW Women’s Division hosted a Lion of Judah morning tea at the home of Andrew and Taryn Boyarsky. Guest speaker, Sydney journalist and media commentator Miranda Devine addressed 35 key UIA female supporters at the event, about the global threat posed by radical Islam to our safety and Western democratic way of life.

She also discussed how the prevailing media bias and fear of repercussion from voicing contradictory opinions affects us in Australia.

Co-chair of UIA’s Young Women’s Tikvah group, Donna Rom presented an insightful report about her visit to a Youth Futures centre (a program supported by UIA), while on a private family trip to Israel. Donna highlighted the need to engage the younger demographic and foster their connection to Israel through UIA’s initiatives.

UIA NSW CEO Yair Miller closed the morning tea by acknowledging the many years of support and commitment from the women supporters, and thanked them for attending the event. He also encouraged the guests to attend one of UIA’s many Israel Missions taking place for Israel’s 70th anniversary celebrations.
