$90,000 grants for Jewish institutions in the seat of Vaucluse

Member for Vaucluse, Gabrielle Upton has announced that the Vaucluse Electorate has secured $330,000 for a total of 16 projects through the NSW Government’s 2018 Community Building Partnership Program with $90,000 earmarked for Jewish projects.

Gabrielle Upton said: “The NSW Government funding will deliver new local facilities and upgrades and a chance for our community groups and schools to step up their good work.

The NSW Government’s strong economic management means we are able to invest in these important projects. I congratulate all the successful organisations and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference to our local community”.

The successful Jewish projects for the Vaucluse Electorate are:

  • $20,000 – Our Big Kitchen – Upgrade of office and volunteer common area
  • $20,000 – Bnei Akiva Sydney – pathway and kitchen upgrade
  • $20,000 – Jewish House – garden landscaping and painting
  • $30,000 – Emanuel Synagogue – communal garden
