$70,000 in grants to NSW Jewish care providers

The NSW Government has announced grants to selected social service providers in NSW including two Jewish organisations.

Rabbi Mendel Kastel

MP Gabrielle Upton has told Jewish House that it has been granted $50,000 with $20,000 going to Our Big Kitchen (OBK).

COA of Jewish House told J-Wire: “We are grateful for this finding which will help fund our Couch surfing platform at www.couchsurfer.org.au

We are grateful to Gabrielle for always advocating for important work in the community.”

CEO of OBK Rabbi Dr Dovid Slavin, told J-Wire: “We are most appreciative of the funding that will help us feed the needy at this very critical time in our state’s history.

We thank Gabrielle for her ongoing staunch support”
