Mystery surrounds Melbourne man’s injuries
Melbourne father of four Yitzchak Rosen is fighting for his life in hospital after being found unconscious in the early hours of Thursday morning on the Mornington Peninsula.
Circumstances surrounding the tragedy remain unclear. It appears that 35-yr-old Rosen, who had been holidaying with his family at the Nepean Country Club on the Mornington Peninsula, took a walk around the grounds around midnight. At some point Mr Rosen had a fall and was unable to lift himself back up. He was found on the ground of the multi purpose area by a passer-by around 7am the next morning.
Anne Roberts-Nissen, the general Manager of Nepean Country-Club told J-Wire: “Everyone here is incredibly upset for Mr Rosen and his family. They are a particularly nice family and we hope and pray that he and his family will be okay.”
The injured man was airlifted to the Alfred hospital with hypothermia and head injuries. Rosen, a resident of Caulfield, remains in a critical condition.
Victorian Police told J-Wire: “Police were called to reports of an unconscious man on the ground near tennis courts on Browns Road, Boneo just after 7am yesterday (Thursday 7 Jan). Police have been told the 35-year-old man was last seen about midnight (Thursday 7 Jan) before he was discovered by an employee of a nearby business. The man was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
Anyone with information regarding the incident should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
