Gift of Life runs City to Surf

Among the 80,000 running and walking the City to Surf event in Sydney yesterday were several volunteers from Gift of Life Australia.

Amongst them were Debbie Redelman and daughter Nadia who is also an SES volunteer, Rozanne Kaplan with husband Clifford ( pictured) and their  eight year old son Brett. Brett finishing the race 45 minutes earlier than his parents. The race is run from Sydney city centre to Bondi Beach.

Also walking the 14 km course were Linda Kopcho and partner Ron Gardner (pictured ) .

All said that it had been a great day and a great location and that it was wonderful to be asked about the Gift of Life program by fellow participants in  the City to Surf race who spotted their special T shirt & cap with  logo & wording”…..Ask me how you too can save a life ……”

Gift of Life matches donors with those fighting for their lives in need of rare stem cell and bone marrow matches.
